About Us

Gabe is an entrepreneur, investor, and attorney with broad experience building, operating, and scaling businesses across a wide range of stages and ownership structures, from founder led startups and family owned enterprises to Fortune 500 companies. Over the course of his career, he has successfully led and sold two of his own businesses and has co-founded several others.

At H6 Ventures, Gabe is most passionate about partnering with founder led and family owned businesses. He is drawn to enterprises that often represent decades of effort, relationships, and identity, and to situations where he can serve as a thoughtful partner and long term investor by preserving what makes a business special while helping it evolve, professionalize, and scale responsibly. His experience working alongside founders and multi generational owners has shaped a partnership oriented approach rooted in continuity, trust, and stewardship.

Throughout his career, Gabe has held a core belief that people are the foundation of any successful business, and that durable value is created by placing the right individuals in the right roles, fostering trust, and aligning incentives. Whether as a founder, operator, or investor, his approach centers on partnering closely with management teams, respecting institutional knowledge, and strengthening organizations from the inside out. Across these ventures, he has maintained a disciplined focus on capital preservation and long term value creation and has never lost money for his investors.

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Flo Technologies, a pioneering smart water technology company that grew from a garage startup into a global platform before being acquired by Fortune Brands Innovations (NYSE FBIN). Following the acquisition, he joined Fortune Brands executive team, where he ran one of the company’s most important strategic growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, Gabriel held senior operating and legal roles at Umami Burger, helping scale the business nationally during a period of rapid expansion while overseeing multiple functional areas.

In addition to his operating leadership, Gabe has served as an equity partner at a boutique law firm and has advised closely held businesses, founders, and management teams on transactions, governance, financings, real estate, and complex commercial matters. His combined legal and operating background brings a pragmatic, risk aware perspective to decision making, particularly in situations involving transition, growth, or organizational complexity.

Gabe lives in Los Angeles with his wife and four children and is actively involved in philanthropic and civic organizations focused on community building, education, and leadership development.
